The Lutheran Church in Laši is stone building. It was built in 1805. In the garden of church is churchyard. There are graves of German army soldiers from the First World War.

The Lutheran Church of Subate, which was built in 1685., has the special place in the history of art in Latvia. At the first, its architecture is totally different from the traditional architecture of churches of countrysides in Latvia. At the second, the name of Subate is used to say about the group of woodcarvers and woodsculptors, which at the end of 17. century made a lot of different equipments for churches in Latvia and Lithuania. The equipment of the church in Subate, probable, was the biggest piece of work of this group, it was reconstructed just a little. Under the rich decoration can be easy seen the construction of the building, which is supplemented with the big number of sculptures and narrative mouldings.

The memorial stone for selectionist Pauls Sukatnieks (1991.) It is thanks sign for life-work of P. Sukatnieks. He grew different sorts of grapes, which were suitable for Latian climate. It is placed near "Apsīšu" house, where lived and worked famous selectionist.

In 1714. August 27. in district Laši (now district Eglaine) was born Gothards Fridrihs Stenders - the priest of German nationality, enlightener, the father of Latvian temporal literature, linguist, called also as Old Stenders. In 1989. here, in honour of his 275 anniversary, was opened the memorial stone and museum.

Dedicated to the memory of the victims of terror under all occupying powers in the Krāslava and Dagda Counties. The sculptors are Indulis and Ivo Folkmanis from Daugavpils. The Monument was erected on the initiative of the Krāslava District Department of the Politically Repressed, with the support of the Latvian Fund.

The chapel was built at the end of 19. century. It is built from sills, plated with horizontal planks. There is high bell-tower, which is covererd with four-sided roof. The windows are decorated with jamb, which is ornamented with woodcuts.

The Orthodox Church of the birth of Our Lady (1880) had also a cloister and 7 forms school. Also this church had a lot of damages during the war and Soviet power, which closed the church. The restoration works of the church started in 2001. For not big red-bricks church is characteristic outer wall-painting.

The cultural monument of national value. There are seen a lot of icons and the collection of art objects. The oldest church building in the town Rēzekne was started in 1840. In the church is three-level iconostasis. Near the church is located the chapel of St. A. Ņevskis, built in 1867.

The Roman Catholic Church in Ilūkste was built in 1816. for Katrin Zīberga money and it was given to members of Uniat(e) Church. In 1861. the church turned to Orthodox, but started from 1920. it is again in catholic parish use.

The building of the church was finished in 1936. The church was dedicated to the Virgin of Pain (the central altar). There are icons from the beginning of the 20. century. In the churchgarden is the statue of the Virgin Fatima. The souvenirs can be bought during the church services or public holidays.

For Vaboles district is characteristic that here was and also now is the biggest number of crucifixes in Latvia. After 20. century 40.years a lot of them were destroyed. From the 44 crucifixes are stayed only 29. In the 80. - 90. the people of village started the restoration of crucifixes. In 1998. Skrindu museum restored 2 crucifixes for the resources of Ministry of Culture. Thanks to fund of Cultural Capital the work on the restoration of crucifixes continues.
