Museum
Daugavpils municipal institution „Belarusian Cultural Centre” offers the excursion „Belarusian House” for pupils.
The program includes:
• a short story about Belarusian Cultural Centre in Daugavpils, whose mission is to preserve, develop and popularize Belarusian culture
• visiting the ethnographic exposition „Belarusian hut”
• familiarization with the exhibition "Famous Belarusians"
• demonstration of Belarusian traditional costumes
• Belarusian folk song (piano or accordion musical accompaniment)
• Belarusian folk tale in Belarusian language, questions and answers
• Belarusian polka – the dance practice
• riddles in Belarusian language
• "Cushion" – Belarusian folk game
• Photography
• the record in the book of comments and suggestions.
The aim is to acquaint pupils with the Belarusian culture as part of the multinational Daugavpils City.
Target audience: pupils aged 7-18 years. Number of participants – one class.
Time – 40 minutes.
