LAKE STROPI

It is the lake in the territory of Daugavpils city (surface – 417.9 ha). The lake is the only freshwater body in Latgale, whose beaches every year are awarded the Blue flag – the award by the International Foundation for Environment Education (FEE) – that indicates cleanliness, safety, and developed infrastructure. The lake is a popular leisure and recreation place for the city inhabitants and its guests.
