In the woodcutter's country estate is made museum of woodwork. They are made from 70 species of a trees and bushes. The main thing in this collection is 1.86 m long and more than 5 kg heavy birch spoon - "Eiropas karote"("European spoon").

Museum has been opened in 2013, April. The museum has four exhibition halls, where visitors can get acquainted with the household tools and agricultural techniques from different time periods which reflects the life of local people. The museum offers possibility to see fragments from old maps from 15th century till nowadays. Visitors will be able to get acquinted with with thematic photo exhibition.
Working hours: Wednesday 10.00 to 13.00, at other times - by prior application.

It has just been restored and become a branch of Ludza Museum with a praying room, modern expositions dedicated to documentary film director Hetz Frank and his father – photographer Wolf Frank, and an exposition about Ludza Jewish people’s life.
Especially valuable are not only old wooden constructions, but also starred sky on the ceiling, the restored ornaments and furniture.
